Privacy Policy

REFarm is a route-planning app for real estate agents who walk neighbourhoods. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
The short version
- Your addresses, routes, notes and door-knock results are stored on your own device. REFarm has no account system and no server of ours. We do not have a copy of your data.
- To plan a route, addresses have to be sent to Google's mapping services. That is the one thing that leaves your phone, and it is what makes the app work.
- REFarm contains no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. There is no third-party tracking SDK in the app, and it does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Google Drive backup is off unless you sign in. If you do, files go to your Drive, not ours.
What is stored on your device
REFarm keeps the following locally, in the app's own storage:
- Addresses you import from a CSV file or add by searching
- Routes you build, their stop order, and your saved route library
- Each stop's status — visited, not home, follow-up — and any notes you type
- Your saved start points (for example a "Home" or "Office" preset)
- App settings
This information stays on the device. Deleting the app deletes it. We cannot retrieve it for you, because we never had it.
What is sent off the device, and why
To turn a list of addresses into a walking route, REFarm sends information to Google. There is no way to plan a route without this.

Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's privacy policy. Apple's is at apple.com/legal/privacy.
We do not send your notes, your door-knock results, your route names, or anything you type about a household to anyone. Those never leave your device.
Location
REFarm asks for location permission so it can show where you are on the map, use your current position as a route's starting point, and give turn-by-turn directions while you walk.
Location is used while you are using the app. REFarm does not track your location in the background for any purpose, and does not build a history of where you have been.
You can refuse location permission. The app still works — you will need to set a starting point by typing an address instead.
Google Drive backup — optional, and off by default
REFarm can back your route history up to Google Drive so you do not lose it if you change phones. This is entirely optional:
- Nothing is uploaded unless you actively sign in to Google inside the app.
- If you sign in, files are written to your own Google Drive account, in a folder created by the app. We have no access to that folder.
- REFarm requests only the
drive.filepermission, the narrowest one Google offers — it can see only the files the app itself created. It cannot read the rest of your Drive. - Sign out at any time and uploading stops.
What REFarm does not do
- No advertising, and no ad networks.
- No analytics or usage tracking. We do not know how you use the app.
- No third-party tracking SDKs.
- No use of the advertising identifier (IDFA), and no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track.
- No selling or sharing of your information. There is nothing to sell; we do not hold it.
- No accounts, no email list, no profile.
Children
REFarm is a professional tool for real estate agents. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your data, your control
Because everything is on your device:
- To see your data — it is in the app.
- To delete it — delete a route in the app, or delete the app entirely.
- To delete Drive backups — remove the app's folder from your Google Drive, and sign out inside REFarm.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what leaves your device, the effective date at the top will change and the new version will be posted here before the change ships in an app update.
