It helps enormously if you include what you were doing when it happened, what you expected instead, and your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings ▸ General ▸ About). A screenshot is worth more than a paragraph.

Getting started

1. Bring your addresses in

REFarm reads a CSV file. Export your list from wherever it lives — a spreadsheet, your CRM, a farm list — and open it in REFarm. Any column layout works; you tell the app which column holds the address.

2. Set where you are starting from

Use your current location, or save a Home or Office preset so it is one tap next time.

3. Build the route

REFarm orders the stops for the shortest walk. If you would rather decide the order yourself, you can lasso stops on the map and set the order by hand.

4. Walk it

Turn-by-turn directions take you door to door. Mark each stop as you go — visited, not home, follow-up — and add a note. If you tap something wrong, undo it.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. REFarm has no login. Your data lives on your phone.

Does it work without signal?

The route you have already built stays on your phone and is readable offline. Building a new route, searching for addresses, and turn-by-turn directions all need a connection, because they use Google's mapping service.

Where is my data?

On your device. If you have signed in to Google Drive inside the app, a backup copy is in your own Drive, in a folder REFarm created. See the privacy policy.

Can I move my routes to a new phone?

Sign in to Google Drive on the old phone so your history is backed up, then sign in with the same Google account on the new one.

Can I get my addresses back out?

Yes — routes can be exported and printed.

Does it drain my battery?

Turn-by-turn navigation uses GPS continuously, so a long walking session will use battery the way any navigation app does. REFarm does not use your location when you are not walking a route.

Is there an Apple Watch app?

Yes. It mirrors the walk so you can mark a door from your wrist without taking your phone out.

How much does it cost?

See the App Store listing for current pricing.

Something is wrong with the route

The most common cause is an address that could not be found. When REFarm cannot match an address to a real location, it cannot place it on the route. Check the spelling in your CSV, particularly unit numbers and street types.

If a route ordered itself in a way that does not make sense on the ground — send us the route. Walking order is the heart of this app and we want to see it.

Privacy

The full policy is at refarm.app/privacy. The short version: your addresses and notes stay on your phone, addresses are sent to Google to build the route, and there is no tracking or advertising in the app.
